Indonesia’s Financial Services Authority, or OJK, has recently said that it will announce regulation relating to crowdfunding in the country, which would be simple and would open access to financing for start-up companies. The regulation would also cover strategies for promoting venture capital businesses and for the e fficial communication, the OJK had also announced that there would be the establishment of a new local venture capital fund by the end of 2015. The OJK will also allow banks to set up venture capital subsidiaries in addition to private equity and asset management firms.
